Introduction: Hyperaldosteronism can induce elevated parathyroid hormone (PTH) levels, presumably by increasing calciuria. Furthermore, PTH stimulates aldosterone secretion in vitro, and increases angiotensin–II-stimulated aldosterone release. In a patient with hyperaldosteronism and hyperparathyroidism, PTH receptors were detected in aldosteronoma tissue.
